My name is Karen Ingversen and I have been a midwife since 1999.

I offer painting of your pregnant belly and parent-child pictures as well as events for baby showers.

I have worked at Hvidovre Hospital, in the Netherlands, at a maternity clinic and in the Home Birth Scheme Zealand - so both with home births and hospital births. In total, I have welcomed over 700 children, of which over 200 at home births. In between, I have given birth to my own 5 children.

Some also know me from Painless Birth, where I teach.

I have a master's degree in health science and have led the Danish part of the research project "Nordic Homebirth" and researched homebirths since 2005. I am currently studying psychology at the University of Copenhagen.
